The installation service provided does not cover battery registration, coding, adaptation, or reset. 4. The Bosch car batteries sold by Bosch Autoparts Store is warranted against material and workmanships defects as stipulated below: a) Petrol vehicles for private use - 12 months warranty b) Diesel vehicles and petrol vehicles for commercial use - 6 months warranty 2. In the event of a battery failure within the stipulated warranty period and once verified as a defect by the appointed representative(s), the battery shall be replaced free of charge, subject to the Warranty Claim Procedure terms and conditions. 3. Warranty limitation and exclusions: a) Physical imperfection(s) or defect(s) on battery exterior battery structure/surface. b) Battery failure due to user negligence and overcharging/undercharging which can include but not limited faulty vehicle electrical system, prolonged vehicle storage, and prolonged short-distance drive usage. c) Transfer and use of battery in another/multiple vehicle(s) or change in vehicle ownership d) Damage due to negligence, abuse, accident, flood, fire and other acts of nature. e) Any incidental or consequential damage(s) arising from the use of the battery and/or the battery failure. Warranty Claim Procedure 1. Contact the Bosch Autoparts customer service team via Seller Chat, using the buyer account used to purchase the battery for verification and appointment purposes. 2. The battery shall be sent for warranty diagnostic and inspection at the customer service point located in Puchong, Selangor. Checking service is available for a fee for areas within the Service Coverage. 3. Any handling cost associated with the submission of the battery for warranty which may include the removal of the battery is not covered by the warranty. 4. In the event the battery is deemed to be faulty, a new battery will be issued with a warranty period that follows the initial warranty period, in replacement of the faulty battery. 5. Depending on a case-to-case basis, the battery warranty process can take between 1 – 7 working days. 6. If the returned battery, be it new or the existing unit is not collected beyond 30 days, the remaining warranty shall be terminated, and the battery forfeited.
